Cereal classic- Reborn!

I have fallen in love again! When I was little I liked Honey Nut Cheerios and even regular Cheerios, probably because I would have about 1/4 cup of sugar over them. How I enjoyed scraping the sugar from the bottom of the bowl! If I did that now, I would most likely be in a sugar coma or bed ridden due to obesity. I also like yogurt. Yoplait came out with a 2 week challenge to lose 5 pounds, which includes eating yogurt 2x a day with a grain of some sort, one of which being Multi Grain Cheerios. I though about trying the challenge, but it started to be too much yogurt. Even with all the flavors available, it was just getting old quick.
But....I was still enjoying the Cheerios. I decided to sprinkle them with a packet of PureVia (natural Stevia extract) and some cinnamon and...BAM!...my new fave breakfast. I feel full, get my fiber, great flavor and hopefully, with the help of the cinnamon, I have increased my metabolism for the day. They already come lightly sweetened, so they are great to eat as a snack. Two thumbs up, Cheerios!....two thumbs up!

Ditch the class, join the party! :: Zumba

Last night I went with my mom, Mandy (a teacher from my mom's school) and my sister to Zumba! I never thought that the rec. center would be so busy at 8pm. Usually I'm ready for bed by then. Let me tell you, it was completely different than I expected. The class was pretty packed and it was hard to see the instructor most of the time. I had to use the mirror to watch her and flip everything she was doing. It was definitely more funky dance than Jazzercise and really a completely different atmosphere. But it was fun! Maybe just because I was laughing at myself because I was struggling. Everyone that I have talked to that does Zumba or has done it in the past have said to try 3-4 classes before making a decision, which is what I tell people about Jazzercise. So here's to hoping! One of the routines we did was actually on the Zumba Wii game, so it was nice to have some familiarity, but to also see what it looks like when a real person is doing it, not the computer animated instructor.

Happy Birthday to Me!

I am now 27! Bleh! For my birthday, my family bought me Victoria's Secret PINK sweats and hoodie, and Zumba for the Wii. I have been wanting to try Zumba after hearing people talk about it, I have watched some classes and even looked it up online, but wanted to know when I would go to it with work, Jazzercise and wanting to other things than exercise in my spare time. This was a really good option! I kind of feel like an idiot doing it alone in my living room with my dog trying to bite the remote off my hips, but I think is better to look like an idiot by myself than in front of others. It takes a couple of times to figure out what the instructor is doing and to get the feel for the type of dance you are doing, but seriously kicked my butt everytime I have done it. Since I started doing it, my mom has been more interested in doing it. She talked me and my sister into going to the Zumba class on Thursday night at the Taylorsville Rec. Center. Wish me luck!

What's in a name?

I would like to thank Bliss spa in New York for creating this magical cream! After seeing it on sephora.com, reading the reviews and finally admitting to myself that my itty bitty leg dimples were actually gigantic pot holes, I gave in and bought this product. (Thanks also to Grandma and Grandpa for the birthday money that paid for this!) Seriously though, how could a cream really work? I have to admit that even after reading awesome reviews about the product, I still wasn't sure that this stuff would work. I guess miracles happen though. I have been using this since the beginning of February and have been absolutely amazed. My legs, specifically the back of my thighs, have been transformed! There are still a few spots here and there that need some help, but the cellulite is definitely less noticable. Not only that, but it has helped with some of the stretch marks I have on my booty and has made my skin super smooth. Some of the reviewers on sephora.com reported that they have noticed a reduction in the size of the areas that they used FatGirlSlim on. I have to say that I have noticed that my thighs look slimmer all around, but it could just be that they are smoother. I have used it on the front of my thighs too to help them look just as nice as the back. LOVE it!

I started using LoveHandler in December. This was in impulse buy at Sephora, I hadn't read much about it. Using this actually made me start thinking more about FatGirlSlim. They are both essentially the same, but LoveHandler is more just for your stomach. I didn't use LoveHandler for awhile, so I still have some left. I have started using it with the FatGirlSlim to prepare for Key West at the end of the month. BUT I AM ALMOST OUT!!!! This morning was my first time using FatGirlSlim on my midsection, but I will keep you posted on if it works as fabulously as it did on my legs. Both do have smells that some peeps may need to get used to, but I have to say they weren't as bad as I thought they could be. LoveHandler is kind of minty and is cool on the skin when you put it on. FatGirlSlim reminded me of jars of paste that you would use in kindergarten. With clothes on I haven't noticed the smell though. Don't worry, you won't smell horrible if you use this! I highly recommend FatGirlSlim over LoveHandler, but it doesn't hurt to try both.
